Dubai’s Emirates Airline Extends Beirut Flight Suspension Until 2025

Dubai-based carrier Emirates airline has extended its suspension of flights to the Lebanon capital of Beirut for the remainder of the year.

Emirates – the world’s biggest long-haul carrier – confirmed in a statement on its website that “Emirates flights to and from Beirut are canceled until and including 31 December 2024.”

It said customers transiting through Dubai with Beirut as their final destination will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin.

“Customers impacted by flight cancellations must contact their booking agents for alternative travel options or contact us if booked directly with Emirates,” the statement said. “Customers are requested to ensure their contact details are correct by visiting Manage Your Booking to receive updates. We continue to closely monitor the situation in the region and are in contact with relevant authorities regarding developments.”

Emirates has repeatedly modified its flight schedule in recent months due to heightened tensions in the Middle East and Israel’s ongoing offensive in Lebanon, as have other carriers.
