Denmark Voices Concern Over Escalating Tensions on Lebanon-Israel Border

Denmark's Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen has voiced concern over the intensifying hostilities on the Israeli-Lebanese border, urging the need for a ceasefire in Gaza in order to restore calm to the region.

During a meeting with Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz on the sidelines of a NATO summit, Rasmussen emphasized the importance of diplomatic solutions to address the escalating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, said a statement issued by the Danish Foreign Ministry.

"The foreign minister underlined the need to find solutions through diplomatic means," the ministry stated, reiterating Denmark's commitment to fostering peace in the region.
