Children's Museum Removes Michael Jackson's Memorabilia from Display

The Children's Museum of Indianapolis has removed Michael Jackson’s three memorabilia items from display, amid the uproar caused by “Leaving Neverland” documentary which exposed the late singer’s sexual abuse of minors.

The Indianapolis Star reported that a hat and glove worn by the King of Pop, as well as a poster signed by him were taken down from the exhibit. These items were purchased at an auction several years ago.

"As the world's largest children's museum, we are very sensitive to our audience. In an excess of caution, and in response to the controversy over the HBO film called Leaving Neverland, which directly involved allegations of abuse against children, we removed those objects while we carefully consider the situation more fully,” The museum's director of media and public relations, Kimberly Harms Robinson, told CBS.
