The BBC Radio 2 has dropped Michael Jackson's music from of its playlist amid the ongoing uproar caused by a two-part documentary exposing the late singer's alleged sex crimes.
According to The Sunday Times, the channel made the decision last week ahead of the airing of "Leaving Neverland" which features two men claiming that Jackson had repeatedly abused them sexually during their childhood.
“We consider each piece of music on its merits and decisions on what we play on different networks are always made with relevant audiences and context in mind,” a BBC spokesman said.
