Last week, Israeli aircraft bombed the Abu Al Duhur air base in Syria. Several protesters reportedly vandalized Bank Audi and Bank of Beirut in Sin El Fil, smashing the glass facades and setting tires on fire at the entrances.
According to An-Nahar correspondent, the army arrived at the scene where some protesters attempted to block the roads.
A clash broke out between the protesters and the army when the former tried to prevent the latter from vandalizing the banks.
