Britney Spears Deletes Instagram Page After Urging She 'Didn't Mean to Offend Anyone'

Britney Spears' Instagram page has seemingly vanished after singer urged that she '"didn't mean to offend anyone" with her new memoir, The Woman In Me.

The 41-year-old star is about to rock the world with her bombshell memoir, and now just days before it hits bookshop shelves, her Instagram page appears to have disappeared. Frequently sharing dancing videos while donning skimpy dresses, lingerie, and bikinis, the star's page is no longer visible.

When you click on Britney's Instagram page on a web browser, it says: "Sorry, this page isn't available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed. Go back to Instagram." Meanwhile, when searching for her on the mobile app, her account is completely gone.

Britney suddenly deactivating her account comes just hours after she issued a statement to her fans apologising for any hurt the contents of her upcoming memoir has caused. On Friday, Britney released a statement that said: "My book's purpose was not to offend anyone by any means.

"I don't like the headlines I am reading... that's exactly why I quit the business four years ago! Most of the book is from 20 years ago... I have moved on and it's a beautiful clean slate from here!!!"

She went on: "I am here to establish it that way for the rest of my entire life! Either way, that is the last of it and sh*t happens! This is actually a book I didn't know needed to be written ... although some might be offended, it has given me closure on all things for a better future!!"
