Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Dr. Abdallah Bou Habib, on Wednesday, received in his office, the US Ambassador to Lebanon, Lisa Johnson, with whom he discussed the developments in south Lebanon and the outcome of the meetings he held during his visit to Washington and New York with American and UN officials regarding the renewal of UNIFIL’s mandate, the full implementation of UNSC Resolution 1701 (2006), and support for the Lebanese army.
Minister Bou Habib also met with Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister Saade Chami, and Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary.
