The employees of Banque du Liban announced a three-day strike after Judge Ghada Aoun and State Security had raided Riad Salameh’s house in Rabieh and his office at the Central Bank.

“The dignity of the institution and its employees is above everything, we refuse to be treated this way. We announce the strike,” Head of the Syndicate of Banque du Liban employees Abbas Awada said.

“We are not defending Riad Salameh, but we are defending an institutional entity and we will not accept such practices,” he added.
