The Lebanese Army has successfully completed its deployment in the Arqoub region, in a move coordinated with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

As part of the operation, armored vehicles and tanks were positioned in the hills surrounding Kfarshouba, extending as far as the Baathail Lake area.

The deployment also included the towns of Kfarhamam and Rashaya al-Fakhar, further strengthening the Lebanese army's military presence in the region. Earlier, the Army had secured the eastern outskirts of Shebaa.

Residents of Kfarshouba warmly welcomed the Lebanese Army, greeting the troops with celebratory cheers. The deployment is part of ongoing efforts to reinforce security in the area, in close coordination with international peacekeeping forces stationed in southern Lebanon.
