A Judicial source revealed "that Judge Ghada Aoun was dismissed after she had a chance to explain her side of the story and after hearing from people who were against her".

The judicial source stressed to Asharq Al-Awsat that "decision was not influenced by politics and was based on facts and statements from the media which showed that Judge Aoun had not denied anything herself".
