Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh issued a statement on Sunday, in which he confirmed that, based on Articles 75 and 83 of the Monetary and Credit Law, work on the SAYRAFA platform continues as usual according to the same rules approved by BDL since March 2023.
The statement added that all circulating news about certain banks' non-compliance in this respect is baseless.
Salameh emphasized in his statement that "Banque du Liban continues with the same policy of meeting all requests received from banks as long as they are within the established assets."
